Easy Cheesy Pizza Pockets


Ingredients:

1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)

1/2 cup pizza sauce

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped cooked sausage (optional)

1/4 tsp Italian seasoning

Olive oil or melted butter, for brushing

Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into even rectangles or squares (about 8 total for 4 pockets).
  3. Add filling: On half of the rectangles, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and add pepperoni or sausage if using.
  4. Top and seal: Cover with remaining dough pieces. Use a fork to crimp the edges and seal well.
  5. Brush tops with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese over each pocket.
  6. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Cool slightly and enjoy with extra marinara or ranch for dipping.
