Chicken Burger with Yogurt and Grated Cucumber Sauce

Ingredients:
For the Chicken Patties:

1 lb ground chicken

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp onion powder

1 tsp dried oregano

½ tsp smoked paprika

Salt & black pepper, to taste

1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

For the Yogurt Cucumber Sauce:

¾ cup plain Greek yogurt

½ cup grated cucumber (squeezed dry)

1 tbsp lemon juice

1 small garlic clove, minced

1 tbsp chopped fresh dill or mint

Salt & pepper, to taste

To Assemble:

4 burger buns

Lettuce or arugula

Sliced tomatoes

Thin red onion rings (optional)

Directions:
Make the cucumber sauce:
Combine all sauce ingredients in a bowl. Mix well and refrigerate until ready to use.

Prepare chicken patties:
In a large bowl, mix ground chicken with garlic, onion powder, oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Form into 4 equal patties.

Cook the patties:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook patties for 5–6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Assemble burgers:
Toast the buns lightly. Spread yogurt cucumber sauce on the bottom bun, add lettuce, chicken patty, tomato slices, and red onion. Top with more sauce and close with the top bun.

Serve immediately.
Delicious with a side of baked sweet potato fries or a fresh salad.
