Garlic Herb Cheese Biscuits


Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tbsp baking powder

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

3/4 cup milk

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp melted butter

1 tsp dried Italian herbs

Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your hands until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  4. Stir in milk until just combined.
  5. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet.
  6. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, garlic, and Italian herbs. Brush the mixture over the biscuits.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top of each biscuit.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
