A light and creamy dish that’s fresh, flavorful, and easy enough for weeknights!
Ingredients:
8 oz bowtie (farfalle) pasta
2 chicken breasts, diced
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt, pepper, and a pinch of Italian seasoning
2 garlic cloves, minced
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/4 cup chicken broth or pasta water
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp lemon zest
1/3 cup grated Parmesan
Fresh basil or parsley (optional)
Directions:
Cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Cook in olive oil over medium heat until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
In the same pan, sauté garlic for 30 seconds. Add cream, broth, lemon juice, and zest. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
Stir in Parmesan until melted and smooth.
Return chicken and pasta to the pan. Toss to coat evenly.
Serve with fresh herbs and extra cheese.
