Ingredients:
1 can refrigerated pizza dough (or crescent roll dough)
1/2 cup pizza sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup mini pepperoni slices or chopped cooked sausage (optional)
1/4 tsp Italian seasoning
Olive oil or melted butter, for brushing
Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out dough on a lightly floured surface and cut into even rectangles or squares (about 8 total for 4 pockets).
- Add filling: On half of the rectangles, spread a spoonful of pizza sauce, sprinkle mozzarella, and add pepperoni or sausage if using.
- Top and seal: Cover with remaining dough pieces. Use a fork to crimp the edges and seal well.
- Brush tops with olive oil or melted butter. Sprinkle Italian seasoning and Parmesan cheese over each pocket.
- Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool slightly and enjoy with extra marinara or ranch for dipping.
