Lemon Butter Baked Shrimp

Ingredients
1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 tablespoons butter, melted
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 tablespoon lemon zest
3 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions

  1. Go ahead and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the melted butter, lemon juice, lemon zest, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add your shrimp right into the bowl and toss everything together so those shrimp are nicely coated.
  4. Spread the shrimp out in a single layer in a baking dish.
  5. Be sure to pour any extra butter mixture from the bowl right over the shrimp.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and opaque—the aroma will let you know they’re almost ready.
  7. Finish things off with a sprinkle of fresh parsley before serving. Enjoy!
