Spaghetti Tacos with Ground Beef

Ingredients:

For the Spaghetti:

6 oz uncooked spaghetti noodles, broken in half

Salted water, for boiling

1 tbsp olive oil

For the Beef Sauce:

1 lb lean ground beef

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 1/2 cups marinara or spaghetti sauce

1/2 tsp Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

For Assembly:

8–10 hard taco shells

1 cup shredded mozzarella or Italian blend cheese

Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:

Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add spaghetti noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and toss with olive oil to prevent sticking.

  1. Prepare the Beef Sauce:

In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.

Add chopped onion and garlic; cook until softened.

Stir in marinara sauce and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 5–7 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  1. Combine Pasta & Sauce:

Toss the cooked spaghetti with the beef sauce until well combined.

  1. Assemble the Tacos:

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place taco shells in a baking dish or on a tray.

Fill each shell with the spaghetti-beef mixture. Top with shredded cheese.

  1. Bake:

Bake for 8–10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  1. Garnish and Serve:

Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh herbs if desired, and serve hot!
